About Mahdiyeh Bahrami

I graduated in Graphic Design in 2012,which involves the fusion of art and computer skills to create a wide range ofdesigns and graphics, including design techniques, advertising, logos, app andwebsite appearance designs and etc. Following my graduation, I gainedexperience working with an advertising group before transitioning intofreelancing.

During these years, I had the opportunityto explore different drawing techniques, such as chiaroscuro, colored pencil, pastel, watercolor, oil paint, acrylic, stained glass, and collage. Presently,my focus lies in working with watercolor, occasionally incorporating acrylicand gold leaf into my projects.

In 2022, my family and I made the decisionto relocate to Vancouver. As a mother of two daughters, I am committed toensuring that they maintain a strong connection to Iranian culture, art, authenticity, and religion in our new environment. I hope to address thisconcern through the upcoming program and make an environment to share a part ofIranian art and culture to our community’s kids.
